Abby entered the world of coaching with the mission to create the time, space and structure for people to stop and think; to consider the options they have to be more successful and fulfilled and then accelerate the change required to bring this about.

Who Am I?

Abby is an executive coach and strategic consultant with a strong commercial and leadership background.  She gained a broad experience of blue chip companies across many industries as a chartered accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers before then deepening her knowledge of Retail and Telecommunications in roles covering Commercial Finance, Business Development, Strategy and Transformation at Sainsburys and O2.  She also ran O2’s start-up accelerator and built a strong understanding of and network in the start-up ecosystem.

Her coaching has helped leaders and organisations to improve performance, communication, collaboration, influence and motivation.  Her work to help build high performing teams has focused on developing clear strategies, roles and accountabilities; and shared purpose, vision and values.  She also has experience bridging the gap between corporates and start-ups and increasing her clients’ agility and pace when it comes to innovation and change.

Abby is an Associate Certified Coach with the Internal Coach Federation and also has a diploma in Neuro-lingutstic Programming and is an ACA Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

She is also certified in Extended Disc, iWam and Tetrmap – profiling tools that can be used to explore behavioral preferences and motivational drivers.

Through technology our hyper connected world is getting faster and faster and we drive ourselves to do more and more. However the amount of time we have in a day remains constant and we end up unconsciously sacrificing thinking time and conversation. As result we become reactive creatures of habit and automation rather than being proactive creators of our own mission and agendas.

Coaching is a method of creating a supportive but challenging environment to get you to step off the dance floor and onto the balcony – to ask the important questions about what’s going on and what you want to change. It helps you look at what you want, what choices you have and what decisions you need to make.

It helps you explore the actions, skills, behaviors, mindset and conversations that will be needed to make this change and create accountability for you to execute and achieve the desired outcome.
